There are currently 3 options for delivery:

Same-Day Delivery (by Domain Express) – $8 ($7.08 + HST)
Express Delivery (by Domain Express) – No Charge
Pick-Up at Canada Post Office (due to COVID-19) – No Charge

We have waived standard delivery fees (excluding Same-Day) during the pandemic to make this service as accessible as possible. For the Same-Day and Express Delivery options, the delivery window is 1 pm to 11 pm.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 precautions, Canada Post has temporarily changed its delivery method and may take longer than usual to deliver. They will not be delivering parcels that require a signature or proof-of-age to the customer’s door. Instead, Canada Post will leave a notice card directing customers to a nearby post office where they can pick up their items by showing proof of identity.

Unfortunately, Same-Day and Express Delivery is not available for PO Boxes
Same-Day and Express Delivery is available to Toronto Island residents, you just need to meet the delivery person on the city-side ferry dock.
If you select the Same-Day Delivery option, your order will arrive the same day between 1 pm and 11 pm. The cut-off time for Same-Day Delivery is 1 pm.
If you select the Express Delivery option, your order will arrive within 3 days between 1 pm and 11 pm.

Am I eligible for Same-Day and Express Delivery through blackstarcannabis.ca?

Both Same-Day and Express Delivery are currently available to select customers in Southern Ontario. We are continuously working with our delivery partners to consider opportunities to expand coverage for this service to new postal codes. If you choose Same-Day or Express Delivery at checkout, you will need to be home to receive your order and provide valid government-issued photo ID which proves you are 19 years of age or older.

In response to COVID-19, Canada Post has temporarily changed its delivery method and may take longer than usual to deliver. They will not be delivering Blackstar Cannabis orders to your door. Instead, Canada Post will leave a notice card directing you to a nearby Canada Post Office where you can pick up your order. To retrieve your order, you will need to show valid government issued photo ID which proves you are 19 years of age or older and reside at the shipping address of the order.

Same-Day and Express Delivery orders placed with a PO Box shipping address will be sent back to the Blackstar Cannabis warehouse. Once we receive your package and process the return, a refund will be credited via the original method of payment.

Yes. International customers are able to place orders on blackstarcannabis.ca, provided the order is delivered to an address within Ontario.

The Blackstar Cannabis will only deliver products to addresses in Ontario.

Should you ever need to reach them, the Licensed Producer of every product must provide their name and contact details on the product label, including an email address and phone number. Each product also includes a lot number which refers to a specific harvest, or “lot” of products, which helps trace it back to quality control processes. Take note of the lot number if making a product inquiry.

We make sure that whenever possible, we choose shipping materials that can be re-used or recycled. Blackstar Cannabis branded carboard boxes, packing paper and packing slips are all fully recyclable. For more information on recycling cannabis packaging.

Depending on where you live, most cannabis packaging can be recycled in your curbside recycling program or at your local recycling depot. There are also programs that specialize in non-recyclable waste (such as Terracycle) that accept cannabis packaging from Licensed Producers. To protect against accidental consumption, ensure products are not appealing to children or youth, and to provide the consumer with the necessary information to make informed decisions, Licensed Producers must adhere to stringent packaging and labelling requirements enforced by the Federal Cannabis Act and Health Canada. Unfortunately, these stringent requirements result in the mandatory inclusion of bulky and excess packaging, regardless of the quantity of the product ordered. Unfortunately, no. The Blackstar Cannabis offers a 14-day return policy on all orders of cannabis products from blackstarcannabis.ca in original condition within 14 days of delivery. Licensed Retailers have the ability to create their return policies at their own discretion.

Orders cannot be cancelled.

You will receive an e-mail notification when your order is shipped including the Canada Post tracking number.

Unless you receive a cancellation e-mail notice from Ontario Cannabis Store, your order is still being processed. There is sometimes a lag between when your credit card pre-authorization becomes a charge on your statement.

Generally, all items will be sent together in one package. There may be exceptions based on the size and availability of the product(s).

In certain circumstances, we will accept returned cannabis products in their original, unopened condition within 14 days. Please see our return policy for full details.

If you have received an email from Ontario Cannabis Store confirming receipt of your order, it is being processed. A second e-mail notification with the tracking number will arrive once your order is ready to ship.
